Abstract

In the paper, we present an approach to automated generation tests for optimization modules in compilers. The approach is based on describing of input data for compiler in attribute BNF-grammar. Attributes are used to automatedly meet semantics context conditions. The approach is implemented as a program in Haskell. We illustrate practical application of the approach by an example of test generator development for the Common Subexpression Elimination optimization.
